Is Pop Art for me?

Adding Limited Edition Pop Art and Original Artworks to your space brings personality, vibrancy, and a unique touch to your home or office. It's a fun selection process where you can freely express your emotions, taste, and personality.

If you're still hesitant, let's address some common concerns:

While our prints are not original pieces, they are limited edition and handmade, offering a unique touch and high-quality finish on either our French-made canvas or Australian aluminium finish. They rival original artworks and add new features not typically found in originals, such as UV resistance, waterproofing, and optional LED effects.

Mixing originals with art prints allows you to play with your interior décor, as you feel less committed to a print on a wall and can easily rotate pieces without the time and high budget required for new acquisitions.

It's not uncommon to hesitate about adding pop art because of its disruptive nature, which is less commonly seen in shops or online. However, once you realize that this hesitation stems from uncertainty about finding something that reflects your personality perfectly, you'll see that pop art can be a perfect match.

If you're worried about colours being too bold, start with a smaller piece (40x40cm) to see how it fits in your space. Consider refined collections like the Shopfront series from Niack, which offer subtle colours and provide a gentle introduction to pop art.

If you're in Brisbane, we're more than happy to come to you with pieces for a free in-home viewing. You can also use our AR tool available for free on every product page of our website.

Feeling overwhelmed by the variety or the task you try to achieve? Start small with one or two pieces on a secondary wall and see how you feel.

It's often best to begin with a single wall and gradually expand your collection to pick the perfect artwork for your main wall.

Unsure if the size will work? Our augmented reality tools can help you visualise the artwork in your space. A general rule is to leave at least 15cm on each side of the artwork for proper balance.

Our 40cm width range artworks can fit any wall and also stand on a desk or buffet.

For large walls, consider our King Size range, exclusive in Australia, with dimensions up to 250x150cm.

Alternatively, combine artworks from the same artist series, such as two or three 65x65cm pieces from the Mr OReke cartoon collection, to create a cohesive look.

Unlike what you might think, pop art can balance and complement neutral or classical interiors. It is even highly recommended by interior designers to add disruptive decoration elements as they trigger attention, making you and your guests more attentive to decorative details and suddenly highlighting even the smallest classical elements.

Adding a smartly chosen pop art piece can make your space more dynamic and visually appealing without detracting from its essence.

Use our floating frames with colours that match the main tones of your space or existing artwork frames. This simple trick will help your new pop art piece blend seamlessly into your interior.

Abstract art can be safe, but showcasing your personality through pop art can make your space more inviting and engaging. It demonstrates confidence to guests and creates a unique ambiance that encourages interaction and conversation.

Because of its disruptive nature, pop art is memorable and unlike more bland styles, it allows you to build new memories around it.

THE ART OF GETTING IT RIGHT USING POP ART

The Disruptive Factor This street-style art print, casually placed on the buffet, disrupts the beige/white tones of the room corner. The design aims to draw attention to often overlooked areas, enhancing details in surrounding objects, highlighting their quirky charm, and complementing the refined buffet and lamp.
2
The Art of Blending The client chose a Graphikstreet collage art print for a narrow side wall beside a tall floor lamp. It harmonizes with the room's color scheme, subtly echoing elements of the disruptive art print on the buffet. The floating white frame seamlessly blends with the surroundings, enhancing the space beautifully.

JOE'S VISION

"I recently renovated my property in New Farm. The build was painful, but the fun part was bringing it all together with the interior design. With my wall art, I had obtained some contemporary artwork for certain spaces, but when I met Will, I was still in search of art for my living room, bedrooms, and study.

I had seen Eyefood in James Street, and after a coffee, I thought I would drop in and have a look. Although there is an eclectic theme to my interior design, Pop art wasn't my first choice as I had not purchased it before. What I loved about Will’s service was that he came to my property, looked at what I had, and provided me with options for the spaces I needed.

I am now a massive fan of pop art. It has added an extra layer of vibrant personality to my home.

With honest feedback, we settled on a bright original artwork for the living area, complemented by funky aluminium prints for the children’s bedrooms and challenging secondary wall spaces. Will's tailored selection for my kids even allowed them to choose artworks for their rooms, helping them settle in quickly. They chose an original Pink Panther and a cool pop art take on Bart Simpson. My kids love them. The King Size range allowed me to enhance the master bedroom with a one-of-a-kind 60cm by 180cm aluminium print of personal significance. Realising aluminium prints could also be hung outside, I boldly chose an incredible rock-style piece for my deck, achieving the party and relaxation vibe I desired and finally solving a design puzzle.

Feedback from friends and family has been amazing, sparking conversations not just about my pop art choices but about the entire interior design. It's become a talking point!"
